Schedchie is the cheapest unlimited Planable alternative: €7.99 a month flat for unlimited accounts and posts, against Planable's $39 per workspace capped at 4 pages. Start free trial.

This guide prices Planable against seven apps like Planable at the footprints switchers bring with them, 5 accounts and 10 accounts for one brand, and 5 and 10 client workspaces for an agency: Schedchie, SocialPilot, Buffer, Metricool, Later, Loomly and Pallyy, with Radaar and Hootsuite as the low and high reference points. Planable was read on its own pricing page on October 2, the Buffer and SocialPilot rates on October 1, and every other figure carries the date it was verified in our pricing index.

Planable pricing: the plan ladder on the page today

Planable sells three tiers, and every price is per workspace. A workspace is one brand, one client or one location, with its own pages, calendar and approval flow. The yearly toggle is labelled "2 months free", so the yearly rate is ten months of the monthly one spread over twelve. The plan cards on planable.io/pricing show the yearly figures in the HTML; the monthly figures sit in the page's own structured offer data. Both are below.

Prices verified on October 2, 2026 on planable.io/pricing, in US dollars and excluding taxes, as the page states. The plan cards show $33 and $49; the page's offer data lists Basic at $39 and Pro at $59 on monthly billing. Planable asks teams with more than 5 workspaces to get in touch for a volume discount; no discounted figure is published. Schedchie bills in euro and offers no annual tier, so the yearly column is twelve monthly payments.

The price unit is the workspace, so a second brand doubles the bill. Inside each workspace there are two more meters, pages and posts, and analytics is a separate $14 a month per workspace.

Schedchie prices the same work at €7.99 a month, flat — unlimited accounts and unlimited posts. No workspace count, no page count, no post counter that resets on the first of the month.

Why Planable gets expensive: workspaces, pages and posts

Planable's headline is $33: one workspace, at Basic limits, billed yearly. Run the bill the way a real account list grows.

  • Five accounts, one brand. Basic holds 4 social pages. An Instagram account, a Facebook page, a LinkedIn page, a TikTok account and a YouTube channel is five, so the plan is Pro: $59 a month, or $49 billed yearly, $588 paid up front. Schedchie is €7.99 a month, €95.88 over the same twelve months.
  • Ten accounts, one brand. Still Pro, which tops out at exactly 10 pages. Ten accounts posting once a day is about 300 posts a month; Pro allows 150 per workspace. The next step is a second workspace at another $59, or Enterprise at a price you learn on a demo call. Schedchie is still €7.99.
  • Posting daily on Basic. 60 posts a month across 4 pages is 15 posts per page, one every other day. A daily habit on four pages needs about 120.
  • Seeing the results. Analytics is an add-on at $14 a month per workspace, $12 billed yearly. A Pro workspace with analytics is $73 a month. Schedchie's in-app analytics come with the plan.
  • Posting to X. Basic publishes 1 tweet per 24 hours; Pro lifts that. Schedchie sells X posting as a €4.99 add-on per 30 posts on any plan.

Put the five-account brand together with analytics: $73 a month on Planable Pro, $876 over a year on monthly billing. On Schedchie it is €7.99, €95.88 a year, and the eleventh, twentieth and fortieth account do not change it.

Prices verified on October 2, 2026 for Planable on planable.io/pricing; Buffer and SocialPilot read on their official pricing pages on October 1; Later read on later.com/pricing on September 22; Metricool from the pricing index, verified September 13 on its official pricing page. Currency as each vendor displays it; no conversion applied. The full 25-vendor census is in the social media scheduler pricing index.

At five accounts Planable is the most expensive row, because Basic stops at four pages. At ten accounts Buffer, SocialPilot, Metricool and Later have all stepped up, Planable stays on Pro but meets its 150-post ceiling, and Schedchie is still €7.99.

That is the superlative in plain numbers. Schedchie is the cheapest unlimited social media scheduler: the only plan in the index that caps neither accounts nor posts. Radaar Standard ($9.99) is flat on posts but caps profiles at 6; Pallyy Pro ($25) caps a social set at 11 accounts. Every other tool meters at least one axis, and Planable meters three: workspaces, pages and posts.

Approvals and client review: what the Team plan answers

Planable's pitch is collaboration: a client who signs off before anything goes out. It is also where its price ladder bites hardest.

Read the approval column again. Basic offers two approval types, none and optional: approvals can be switched on, but a post can still publish without one. Required approval, where at least one approver must sign off first, starts on Pro at $59 per workspace a month. Multi-level chains are Enterprise only, priced on a demo call. So a five-client agency that wants every post signed off pays Pro five times: $295 a month, $245 billed yearly.

Schedchie answers the same need on the Team plan at €24.99 a month, flat:

  • Account groups. Each client or brand gets its own group with its own calendar. Invites can be scoped to specific groups, so a freelancer working on one client sees that client and nothing else.
  • Post approvals. Switch approval on for a member and their posts are held until the owner approves them. Approval cannot be skipped by retrying or rescheduling the post.
  • Client review links. Send the client a link to the posts. They approve or request changes with no account, no login and no seat, and you get an email when they ask for a change.
  • Members who need no plan. The Team plan covers the owner plus three invited members, and the invited members work inside your workspace without paying for a plan of their own.
  • An activity view. Thirty days of who scheduled what, per member.

Price the approval workflow both ways. Five clients with required approval on Planable: $295 a month. Ten clients: $590 a month, or $490 billed yearly, before any volume discount Planable offers past five workspaces. Schedchie Team with five or ten client groups, unlimited accounts and posts in each, and a review link per client: €24.99 a month. The client count is not an input to the price.

Planable figures are its per-workspace list prices read on planable.io/pricing on October 2, multiplied by the workspace count; Planable states it offers a volume discount beyond 5 workspaces without publishing one. Analytics add-on at $14 per workspace monthly, $12 billed yearly.

The best Planable alternatives in 2026

1. Schedchie: €7.99 flat, with approvals on the Team plan

Schedchie is €7.99 a month, flat — unlimited accounts and unlimited posts, on twelve platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile and X. Posting to X is a €4.99 add-on per 30 posts. Planable's page lists nine channels; Bluesky, Mastodon and Telegram are among the twelve here. The price is the same at 4 accounts, 5, 10 and 50, which covers every point where Planable moves you up a plan or adds a workspace. Calendar and list views show every post before it publishes, and Google Business Profile takes What's New, Event and Offer posts to your locations. CSV bulk import takes a month of rows in one upload and hands back a fix-me error file for any row that needs correcting. In-app analytics are in the plan, covering the platforms on the analytics page. The Team plan is €24.99 a month for account groups, post approvals and client review links. The MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com lets you schedule from ChatGPT or Claude if you want to; it is opt-in, and the MCP page covers the connection. Fourteen-day free trial, then €7.99. Cancel anytime — no questions asked.

2. SocialPilot: $30 for seven accounts

SocialPilot Essentials is $30 a month, or $25.50 billed annually, for 7 accounts and 1 user, read on socialpilot.co/plans on October 1. Standard is $50, or $42.50 billed annually, for 15 accounts and 3 users. Extra accounts are $4 a month each. At five accounts it is about half of Planable Pro and close to four times Schedchie. First cap you hit: the eighth account, then the single seat. Our SocialPilot alternatives guide prices every rung.

3. Buffer: priced per channel

Buffer Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly and $6 on monthly billing, so five channels are $30 and ten are $60 a month. The Team tier doubles the per-channel rate. The free plan is 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel. First cap you hit: the price, since every account is another line on the invoice. The Schedchie vs Buffer page runs the channel math.

4. Metricool: priced per brand

Metricool Starter is €20 a month for up to 5 brands, €16 billed annually, and the 10-brand tier is €37 monthly, €29 billed annually. X accounts cost $10 a month each on top. The free plan is 1 brand and 20 posts a month. Five brands on Metricool cost less than one Planable Pro workspace. First cap you hit: the brand tier. See Schedchie vs Metricool for both price shapes side by side.

5. Later: social sets with a post meter

Later Starter is $18.75 a month billed yearly for one social set of 8 profiles and 30 posts per profile per month. Growth is $37.50 for 16 profiles and 180 posts per profile. Later dropped its free plan earlier in the year. First cap you hit: the 30-post meter, which a daily posting habit meets exactly. Our Later alternatives guide works it through, and Schedchie vs Later compares the plans.

6. Loomly: the other approval-first calendar

Loomly Starter is $49 a month billed yearly, $65 on monthly billing, for 12 accounts and 3 users, per our pricing index. It sells the same idea Planable does, a calendar built around review and sign-off, at a single-brand price close to Planable Pro's $59. There is no free plan. First cap you hit: the thirteenth account or the fourth user. Against Schedchie Team at €24.99 with unlimited accounts, Loomly Starter costs about two and a half times as much on monthly billing.

7. Pallyy: flat inside one social set

Pallyy Pro is $25 a month for one social set of up to 11 accounts with unlimited posts, and adds $10 per extra set. The free plan is one social set, 15 posts a month, images only. First cap you hit: the twelfth account.

8. Radaar and Hootsuite: the low and high reference points

Radaar Standard is $9.99 a month with unlimited posts and 6 profiles; ten profiles move you to Professional at $29.99 for 12. Hootsuite Standard is $99 per user a month billed annually for 10 accounts, so a two-person team is $198 a month. Two Planable Pro workspaces, $118 a month, already pass one Hootsuite seat. The Schedchie vs Hootsuite page carries the per-seat math.

Apps like Planable for agencies and client work

Planable is built around the client workspace, and agencies feel the per-workspace price first. Every new client is another $39 to $59 a month before a single post is written.

Run a small agency's month. Eight clients, each with Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, two posts a week per account. On Planable Basic that is 8 workspaces at $39, $312 a month, with optional approvals only. Required approvals move it to Pro: $472 a month, or $392 billed yearly, before any discount past five workspaces. On Schedchie Team it is €24.99 a month: eight account groups, approvals switched on for each member, a review link per client, and room for the ninth client at no extra cost.

Planable's bill grows with the client list. Schedchie's does not grow at all, so the tool stays a fixed cost. Our agency scheduler ranking and the agency pricing breakdown run the same test across more tools.

Switching from Planable without losing a month

Export, then import as CSV. Put the next four weeks of posts into a spreadsheet with a date, a time and the text, plus media filenames where a post carries images or video. Schedchie's CSV import takes the whole file in one upload. Rows that fail validation come back as a fix-me error file you correct and upload again, so one bad date does not sink the batch.

Connect the accounts once. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Google Business Profile connect from the dashboard, and X joins with the €4.99 add-on. There is no page count to stay under, so connect every account you run, including the ones you post to twice a month. The Instagram scheduler page lists formats and limits per platform before you start.

Turn workspaces into account groups. On the Team plan each Planable workspace becomes an account group with its own calendar. Invite the people who work on each group, switch approval on for the members whose posts you want to see first, and send each client a review link for the first week.

Run both for the trial. Schedchie's free trial is 14 days on the full plan. Keep Planable on monthly billing until the first two weeks have published, then cancel the plan you no longer need.

Bring an assistant if you want one. The MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com lets you draft and schedule from ChatGPT or Claude, upload media and work through pending approvals. It is opt-in; the dashboard works the same without it. Our MCP servers comparison covers how the connection works across schedulers.

Three checks before you pick a Planable alternative

Count the meters and name the first cap. Planable meters workspaces, pages and posts, with analytics priced on top: on Basic the first cap is the fifth page or the 61st post, on Pro the eleventh page or the 151st post. Buffer meters channels, Metricool brands, Later posts per profile, SocialPilot accounts and seats.

Price your real footprint, not the headline. Planable's $33 is one workspace with four pages, billed yearly. A five-account brand pays $59 a month on Pro. The cheapest social media schedulers guide runs the same test across the market.

Read the approval column. If every post must be signed off, check which tier makes approval required. On Planable that is Pro, per workspace. On Schedchie it is the €24.99 Team plan, for every client at once. The alternatives overview keeps the comparison current, and the FAQ answers plan questions that come up mid-switch.
