Hermes Agent connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • The server URL goes into Hermes Agent; the sign-in happens on the Schedchie screen in your browser. No token to paste.
  • At sign-in you tick which of the six permission groups it gets. Unticked tools do not exist on that connection.

Setting up Hermes Agent

Add four lines to config.yaml and sign in once from a new terminal. Hermes then schedules the week’s posts; with the Schedchie skill it shows you each post before it is scheduled.

    In ~/.hermes/config.yaml, under mcp_servers. auth: oauth lets Hermes register itself with Schedchie.

    Check it, then call list_accounts

    The test reports what Schedchie answered. In a session that was already running, /reload-mcp loads the server. Then ask Hermes for your connected Schedchie accounts.

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Config
~/.hermes/config.yaml, under mcp_servers.schedchie: url and auth oauth. MCP support ships with the standard install.
Sign-in
hermes mcp login schedchie, from a fresh terminal: the CLI’s 30-second auto-reload is too short for an interactive sign-in. Hermes registers itself with Schedchie and waits on a local callback; you can also paste the redirect URL back, or use --flow device.
Running sessions
A session that was already open loads the new server after /reload-mcp, or in a /new one.
Skill
Optional, served from www.schedchie.com/.well-known/skills: the tools to reach for first and the rules (show the post and wait for a yes, X credits, the hourly budget). No code and no credentials.

The groups you tick at sign-in, up to the full set.

What does the Schedchie skill add?

Instructions only. The mcp_servers entry and the sign-in already give Hermes the Schedchie tools; the skill says which tool to call first and to show you each post before it is scheduled.

Where does Hermes keep the sign-in?

In ~/.hermes/mcp-tokens/schedchie.json on your machine. To cut it off on our side as well, revoke it in the dashboard under AI assistants.

Can Hermes Agent run the schedchie command in its shell?

Yes. Install it with npm install -g schedchie, sign in with schedchie login, and the agent runs schedchie <command> --json through its shell. Every Schedchie MCP tool is a command; schedchie tools lists them.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.
