Schedchie in DeepSeekChat

A DeepSeek model writes the posts. Schedchie publishes them.

To schedule posts with DeepSeek, run a DeepSeek model in an agent tool such as Claude Code or OpenCode and add Schedchie to that tool. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • Pick an agent tool from DeepSeek’s integration list, such as Claude Code or OpenCode.
  • Point it at the DeepSeek API, then add the Schedchie MCP server and sign in.
  • The DeepSeek model drafts the posts and schedules them through that tool.

Setting up DeepSeek

Run a DeepSeek model in Claude Code or OpenCode, add the Schedchie MCP server there and sign in. The model then schedules your posts through it.

Requirements

Access
A DeepSeek API key from the DeepSeek Platform and an agent tool from DeepSeek’s integration list, such as Claude Code.
  1. DeepSeekCommand

    Point Claude Code at DeepSeek

DeepSeek has no MCP client in its chat app, so a DeepSeek model reaches Schedchie through an agent tool such as Claude Code. Set these with your DeepSeek API key, then start claude. On Windows PowerShell use $env:NAME="value".

    Command
    export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://api.deepseek.com/anthropic
    export ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN=<your DeepSeek API key>
    export ANTHROPIC_MODEL=deepseek-flash[1m]
    export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_OPUS_MODEL=deepseek-flash[1m]
    export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_SONNET_MODEL=deepseek-flash[1m]
    export ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL=deepseek-flash
    export CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_MODEL=deepseek-flash
    claude
  2. DeepSeekCommand

    Add Schedchie

Add the Schedchie MCP server to Claude Code.

    Command
claude mcp add --transport http schedchie https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp
  3. DeepSeekPrompt

Call list_accounts, then schedule a post

Ask it to list your Schedchie accounts, then to draft and schedule a post.

Three prompts for DeepSeek, with the tools they call

  • Schedule the launch post to LinkedIn and Bluesky for Tuesday 10:00, and the reel to Instagram for Friday 18:00.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • What goes out tomorrow, and on which accounts?

    list_posts
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

    list_pending_approvals, approve_post (Ultra)

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Route
An agent tool runs the DeepSeek model and holds the MCP connection to Schedchie.
Agent tools
DeepSeek’s Agent Integrations guide lists Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, OpenCode, Qoder, Reasonix and WorkBuddy.
Setup
Set the tool to the DeepSeek API with your DeepSeek key, then add Schedchie as a remote MCP server and sign in.
API
DeepSeek’s Anthropic-compatible API ignores mcp_servers, so the MCP connection lives in the agent tool, not in an API request.

More about Schedchie in DeepSeek

Where does a DeepSeek model get the Schedchie tools?

From the agent tool it runs in. Run the model in one such as Claude Code, add the Schedchie MCP server to that tool and sign in. Then ask it to schedule the posts.

Which tool should I use with a DeepSeek model?

One from DeepSeek’s list that connects to Schedchie: Claude Code (/ai/claude-code), OpenCode (/ai/opencode), Codex (/ai/codex), Hermes (/ai/hermes-agent) or OpenClaw (/ai/openclaw). Each page has the setup.
