Schedchie in your MCP clientOpen protocol
A remote MCP server for social media scheduling
Your MCP client connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.
- The server URL goes into your MCP client; the sign-in happens on the Schedchie screen in your browser. No token to paste.
- At sign-in you tick which of the six permission groups it gets. Unticked tools do not exist on that connection.
- Schedchie publishes to the accounts in your workspace: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X. Posting to X is paid in X credits.

Setting up your MCP client
The same URL for every client that speaks Streamable HTTP. A client with MCP authorization finds the sign-in on its own, registers itself, and gets the tools you tick on the Schedchie screen; one without it sends a connection token.

Give your client the URL
Add it as a remote server with the Streamable HTTP transport. The URL is the whole configuration.
Server URLhttps://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp
SchedchieSign-inLet it find the sign-in
The first request gets a 401 whose WWW-Authenticate header points to the OAuth metadata. A client with MCP authorization registers itself at /register and opens the Schedchie screen: tick the groups and sign in.

Send a connection token instead. Generate it in Schedchie under AI assistants, Connections and tokens. It carries posting, media and analytics and lasts 30 days.

Connection details
Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.
- Endpoint
- https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp, Streamable HTTP only. A client set to the older SSE transport does not connect.
- First request
- Without a token the server answers 401, and its WWW-Authenticate header points to the protected-resource metadata.
- Discovery
- That metadata names the authorization server; its own metadata lists the authorize, token and register endpoints, with PKCE S256.
- Registration
- Dynamic client registration at /register, so no client is set up in advance.
- Sign-in
- The Schedchie screen: tick the permission groups, sign in. Unticked tools do not exist on that connection.
- Without OAuth
- A client that cannot run the sign-in can send a connection token from the dashboard as a Bearer header; that token covers posting, media and analytics.
- Only what you tick
- Connect any MCP client to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
- Video from your phone
- Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Approvals that hold
- On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.
More about Schedchie in your MCP client
What does my client need?
The Streamable HTTP transport, plus MCP authorization to find the sign-in on its own from the first 401. Without it, send a connection token as an Authorization: Bearer header.
Do I register a client first?
No. The server supports dynamic client registration, so the client registers itself the first time it connects.
Which permission groups are there?
Six: posts, media, analytics, team, library and engagement, plus three tools every connection gets. You tick the groups at sign-in; what you leave unticked does not exist on that connection.
Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?
No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.
Are there limits?
Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.
Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from any MCP client?
Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.
14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month
