Schedchie in OpenClawAgent gateway

OpenClaw drafts the posts in your chat app. Schedchie publishes them.

OpenClaw connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • The server URL goes into OpenClaw; the sign-in happens on the Schedchie screen in your browser. No token to paste.
  • At sign-in you tick which of the six permission groups it gets. Unticked tools do not exist on that connection.
  • Schedchie publishes to the accounts in your workspace: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X. Posting to X is paid in X credits.

Setting up OpenClaw

Add the server and sign in once. From your chat app, OpenClaw then schedules this week’s posts.

Requirements

Access
Sign in from Settings works only on the Gateway’s own HTTPS, loopback or Tailscale address; otherwise sign in from the terminal of the installation that owns the server.
  1. OpenClawCommand

    Stop the Gateway

The openclaw mcp commands that save a server, sign in or probe run only while the local Gateway is stopped.

    Command
    openclaw gateway stop
  2. OpenClawCommand

    Add the server

It writes mcp.servers.schedchie. Keep transport streamable-http: without it, OpenClaw assumes SSE.

    Command
    openclaw mcp set schedchie '{"url":"https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth","enabled":true}'
  3. OpenClawCommand

Check it and start the Gateway

The probe lists the Schedchie tools. Then start the Gateway and ask OpenClaw from your chat app for your connected Schedchie accounts.

    Command
    openclaw mcp probe schedchie
    openclaw gateway start
  4. OpenClawAdd

    Or from the Control UI

    1. Settings
    2. MCP
    3. Configured servers
    4. Add server
    5. Streamable HTTP
    6. Add server
    7. Sign in

With the Gateway running: add schedchie with the URL, set auth to oauth in the scoped config editor on the same page, then select Sign in on the server and approve in the browser.

    Server URL

Three prompts for OpenClaw, with the tools they call

  • Schedule the launch post to LinkedIn and Bluesky for Tuesday 10:00, and the reel to Instagram for Friday 18:00.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • What goes out tomorrow, and on which accounts?

    list_posts
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Config
mcp.servers.schedchie in ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json, with transport streamable-http and auth oauth. Without transport, OpenClaw assumes SSE.
Gateway
openclaw mcp set, login and probe refuse to run while the local Gateway is running. With it running, use Settings, MCP in the Control UI instead.
Sign-in
openclaw mcp login schedchie. OpenClaw registers itself with Schedchie and waits on a local callback; if the browser cannot reach it, run the --code command it prints.
Tools
The groups you tick at sign-in, up to the full set.
Only what you tick
Connect OpenClaw to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in OpenClaw

What does the Schedchie skill add?

Instructions only. The server entry and the sign-in already give OpenClaw the Schedchie tools; the skill says which tool to call first and to show you each post before it is scheduled.

Which commands set it up?

openclaw gateway stop, then openclaw mcp set schedchie with the url https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp, transport streamable-http and auth oauth, openclaw mcp login schedchie and openclaw mcp probe schedchie, then openclaw gateway start.

What does OpenClaw keep after the sign-in?

The token the Schedchie screen hands back, never your password: you sign in in your browser. The skill itself is a text file.

Can OpenClaw run the schedchie command in its shell?

Yes. Install it with npm install -g schedchie, sign in with schedchie login, and the agent runs schedchie <command> --json through its shell. Every Schedchie MCP tool is a command; schedchie tools lists them.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from OpenClaw?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
