→Reconnect-your-account emails now only go to people actively using Schedchie. Our first automated connection sweep emailed some long-departed users — that was wrong, and it's fixed.
→When a routine background check finds a dead connection, the email now says exactly that ("routine connection check") instead of implying a post failed to publish.
→The email notification opt-out in settings is now respected by every notification type, without exception.
Transparency
Honest pricing everywhere + blog accuracy pass
→The X (Twitter) add-on (€4.99 per 30 posts, due to X's API fees) is now clearly disclosed on the pricing page, FAQ, and checkout — no more surprises.
→Removed an outdated claim about team collaboration features. To be clear: dedicated team features (separate logins, roles, approvals) are still on our roadmap. Today, teams share one account — with no per-seat fees.
→Re-verified every competitor price across our blog against official pricing pages, and flagged tools that shut down or dropped their free plans.
→Security hardening of our blog and website infrastructure.
Performance
Posts to multiple platforms now publish in parallel
→A post going to YouTube + TikTok + Instagram + Facebook now starts publishing everywhere at once, instead of one platform after another. Multi-platform posts land minutes faster.
→TikTok: bulk-scheduled posts to the same account are now automatically paced to avoid TikTok's rate limits — no more delayed batches.
→Facebook: root-caused and fixed a video upload failure ("file fetch race") that occasionally hit freshly-uploaded videos. Uploads now verify and retry automatically.
→Media processing: if your video is still being processed by our cloud pipeline at publish time, the post now waits and retries instead of failing.
Reliability
24/7 self-monitoring and automatic account renewal
→A synthetic "canary" post now runs through our entire real publishing pipeline every hour. If anything breaks, we know within minutes — before you do. See it live on the status page.
→Social account tokens now refresh automatically before they expire, so you have to reconnect accounts far less often.
→Connection expiry displays are now accurate per platform (some previously showed nonsense like "11,573,885 days left" — sorry about that one).
Reliability
Account health, failure notifications, and one-click retry
→If a social connection breaks, Schedchie now detects it at publish time, marks the account, and emails you once (not twenty times) with a reconnect link.
→You now get an email for every failed post, with the actual reason and what to do about it.
→Failed or partially-published posts can be retried with one click, and any scheduled post can be fully edited after creation.
→Expiry warnings: we email you 7 days before a platform connection expires.
Core
Publishing engine rebuilt
→The scheduling engine was rewritten for correctness under failure: posts can no longer be double-published by retries, stuck posts recover automatically, and duplicate submissions from double-clicks are blocked.
→Fixed a bug where account registration could fail with a server error.
→Faster, safer media uploads with resumable transfer.
Honesty
The rough patch — and why this changelog exists
→In early June we had reliability problems, including an outage from June 7–11. We heard you — including the customer who asked for a way to "know immediately whether a problem is general." That's why the status page and this changelog now exist.
→Everything above is the result: we spent July rebuilding reliability from the ground up before adding anything new. If something ever looks off, email [email protected] — a human reads every message.
What we're working on next
Dedicated team collaboration (separate logins, roles, approvals), deeper analytics, and public review-platform profiles. No promised dates — entries appear here when things actually ship.
