Schedchie in PaperclipAutomation

Paperclip agents write the posts. Schedchie publishes them.

Paperclip connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • Connectors, Connect your own MCP server: paste the Schedchie URL and Paperclip registers itself.
  • Pick the agents that may use it, and set writes to Ask first if a post should wait for your yes.
  • Or add Schedchie to the agent’s own runtime, such as Claude Code, as the heartbeat’s OS user.

Setting up Paperclip

Add Schedchie under Connectors as your own MCP server, sign in once and pick the agents that may post. Their scheduled runs then post through it.

  1. PaperclipAdd

    Connect your own MCP server

    1. Connectors
    2. Connect your own MCP server

In the left sidebar, select Connectors, choose Connect your own MCP server and paste the Schedchie URL. Paperclip sees that Schedchie uses OAuth and registers itself.

    Server URL
    https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp
  2. PaperclipTurn on

    Choose who may use it

    1. Which humans can use this credential?
    2. Just me
    3. Which agents can use this connection?
    4. Just agents I pick

Pick Just me, then Just agents I pick, and select the agents that should post.

  3. PaperclipTurn on

    Set permissions and test

    1. Permissions
    2. Ask first

On the connector’s Permissions tab every Schedchie tool is read, write or destructive and starts as Allowed. Set writes to Ask first if a post should wait for your yes, then give an agent a task and check the connector’s activity.

  4. PaperclipCommand

Or through the agent’s own runtime

For claude_local: as the OS user that runs the heartbeat, add Schedchie to Claude Code, then run claude, type /mcp and finish the sign-in once. Later heartbeats run headless on the stored token. hermes_local takes the same entry in Hermes’s config.yaml.

Claude Code on the Paperclip host, as the heartbeat’s OS user
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user schedchie https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp

Three prompts for Paperclip, with the tools they call

  • Every Monday at 8:00, summarise last week’s merged PRs and schedule a LinkedIn post and a Bluesky post about them.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • Every Friday at 17:00, find the week’s failed posts and retry them.

    list_posts, retry_post
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

    list_pending_approvals, approve_post (Ultra)

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

How it connects
Under Connectors: Paperclip registers a client with Schedchie, runs the browser sign-in and gives the tools to the agents you pick.
Permissions
Each Schedchie tool is read, write or destructive and starts as Allowed. Ask first holds a call for your yes; Off removes the tool.
Runtime route
Or add Schedchie to the adapter’s runtime, Claude Code for claude_local or Hermes for hermes_local, as the OS user that runs the heartbeat. That config is per OS user, not per agent, and needs one interactive sign-in.
Adapters
Paperclip lists claude_local, codex_local, gemini_local, opencode_local, hermes_local, kimi_local and others. Each takes Schedchie the way its agent’s own page describes.
Only what you tick
Connect Paperclip to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in Paperclip

Where do I add Schedchie for a Paperclip agent?

Under Connectors in the left sidebar: Connect your own MCP server, paste the Schedchie URL, sign in, then pick the agents that may use it. The agent’s own runtime config works too, as the heartbeat’s OS user (see /ai/claude-code).

Will a headless heartbeat get stuck at the sign-in?

No. You sign in once, in the browser for a connector or in an interactive shell as the heartbeat’s user on the runtime route; later runs use the stored token.

Can one Paperclip host use two Schedchie accounts?

On the runtime route the MCP config belongs to the OS user, so agents on one user share one sign-in. Run the second agent’s heartbeat as another user with its own sign-in.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from Paperclip?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
