  • The server URL goes into Claude Code; the sign-in happens on the Schedchie screen in your browser. No token to paste.
  • At sign-in you tick which of the six permission groups it gets. Unticked tools do not exist on that connection.

Setting up Claude Code

claude mcp add registers the server; the sign-in runs on the Schedchie screen in your browser. From the terminal, Claude Code then calls schedule_posts, retry_post and get_analytics_summary on your connected accounts.

Requirements

Plans
Claude Code needs a Pro, Max, Ultra, Team, Enterprise or Console account; the free claude.ai plan does not include it. On Team and Enterprise only admins add claude.ai connectors.

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Transport
HTTP (Streamable HTTP), added with --transport http. Nothing to install.
Sign-in
claude mcp login schedchie from the shell, or /mcp inside a session. Both open the Schedchie screen in your browser.
What it asks for
All six permission groups. You untick what this connection should not have before you sign in.
Scope
This project by default; add --scope user to the add command to have it in every project.

What is the claude mcp add line for Schedchie?

claude mcp add --transport http schedchie https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp, then claude mcp login schedchie (or /mcp in a session) to sign in. Add --scope user to the first command to have it in every project.

Do I paste a token anywhere?

No. Claude Code registers itself with Schedchie and opens the sign-in in your browser. Leave out any Authorization header: a configured header stops that sign-in from starting.

I already added Schedchie in Claude. Do I add it again?

Not if Claude Code is signed in with the same Claude subscription (not an API key): it loads the connectors added on claude.ai.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

How long does the sign-in last?

A connection token lasts 30 days. When it runs out, Claude Code asks you to sign in again.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from Claude Code?
