Schedchie in ClineEditor

Cline writes the posts. Schedchie publishes them.

Cline connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • MCP Servers, Remote Servers: name, our URL, Transport Type Streamable HTTP, Add Server.
  • Set the type to streamableHttp. Without it, Cline falls back to the legacy SSE transport.
  • Leave the “Use MCP servers” auto-approve toggle off so Cline asks before it schedules anything.

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Config
cline_mcp_settings.json in ~/.cline/data/settings (CLINE_MCP_SETTINGS_PATH overrides it). Configure MCP Servers opens it.
Transport
type streamableHttp. A remote entry with no type is treated as legacy SSE.
Sign-in
Remote MCP servers sign in with OAuth on a 401, with pre-registered clients only where dynamic registration is missing; Schedchie registers Cline itself. In the Cline CLI, the cline mcp wizard has Authorize OAuth.
Approvals
The global “Use MCP servers” auto-approve toggle decides whether Cline runs MCP tools without asking. Leave it off so it asks before it schedules anything.
Token route
An Authorization: Bearer header with a connection token in the entry’s headers, or --header on cline mcp add, also connects, with the posting, media and analytics tools.
Model
Cline runs on the model provider you configure; the MCP connection does not depend on which one.
Only what you tick
Connect Cline to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in Cline

Which transport do I pick in Cline?

Streamable HTTP. In cline_mcp_settings.json that is "type": "streamableHttp"; leaving type out makes Cline use the older SSE transport, which Schedchie does not serve.

Do I need an Authorization header?

No. Cline signs in with OAuth. A connection token from Dashboard, AI assistants also works as an Authorization: Bearer header in the entry’s headers, with the posting, media and analytics tools.

Does the Cline CLI work too?

Yes: cline mcp add schedchie https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp --transport http --yes, then run cline mcp and choose Authorize OAuth.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from Cline?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
