Schedchie CLITerminal

All 88 Schedchie tools as shell commands

The schedchie CLI turns each tool of Schedchie’s MCP server into a shell command, so any agent that runs commands, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI, can schedule posts with JSON in and out. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • npm install -g schedchie, then schedchie login: a browser sign-in, no API key on Pro.
  • Every Schedchie MCP tool is a command, with JSON in and out for scripts and agents.
  • Deletes and other destructive commands run only with --yes.

Setting up Schedchie CLI

Install one npm package and sign in once. Then you, a script or any agent with a shell schedules, edits and checks posts with schedchie <command> --json.

Requirements

Version
Node.js 20.3 or later.
  1. Schedchie CLICommand

    Install it

From npm, on Node.js 20.3 or later. Or skip the install and put npx in front of every command.

    Command
    npm install -g schedchie
  2. Schedchie CLICommand

    Check it

Your profile, then your connected accounts as JSON.

    Command
    schedchie whoami
    schedchie list-accounts --json
  3. Schedchie CLIPrompt

    Schedule a post

Upload a local photo or video, then pass the descriptor it prints to schedule-post.

    Command
    schedchie upload ./photo.jpg --json
    schedchie schedule-post --account-ids <accountId> --text "Hello from the CLI" --scheduled-time 2027-01-15T09:00:00.000Z --media '<descriptor from upload>' --json
  4. Schedchie CLIConfig

    Hand it to your agent

Put this line in its instructions. schedchie tools lists every command; schedchie <command> --help shows its flags.

    Config
Use the `schedchie` command for Schedchie. Run `schedchie <command> --json`; `schedchie tools` lists the commands you can call and `schedchie <command> --help` shows each one’s flags. Never pass `--yes` (it confirms deletes and other destructive actions) without asking me first.

Three prompts for Schedchie CLI, with the tools they call

  • Turn the release notes into a LinkedIn post and schedule it for Monday 9:00 with the schedchie command.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • What is scheduled for next week, and did anything fail since Monday?

    list_posts
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

    list_pending_approvals, approve_post (Ultra)

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Commands
One per Schedchie MCP tool; schedchie tools lists them and schedchie <command> --help shows each one’s flags, checked before anything is sent.
Sign-in
schedchie login opens the Schedchie screen; --no-browser prints the link for a machine without one. An agent whose shell cannot type into the waiting login finishes it from a second shell with schedchie login --callback-url and the address, within 10 minutes. The sign-in is stored readable by your user only and never printed.
Output
--json on every command, so a script or an agent reads the result as is.
Media
schedchie upload takes a local image or video and prints the descriptor schedule-post takes.
Safety
Destructive commands (deleting a post, removing a member) refuse to run without --yes.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in Schedchie CLI

How does the CLI sign in?

schedchie login opens the Schedchie screen in your browser, the same sign-in as any MCP client. No API key, so it works on Pro.

Can an agent drive the CLI on its own?

Yes. Any agent that runs shell commands can call schedchie <command> --json. Give it the instruction line from the steps, so it lists the commands first and asks you before any --yes.

Can I try it without installing?

Yes: npx schedchie login, then npx schedchie <command>.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from the Schedchie CLI?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
