Setting up Gemini app

Add Schedchie as a custom app in Gemini’s Connected Apps and sign in once. Then type @Schedchie in any chat, on the web or in the mobile app.

Requirements

Who can add it
Personal Google Accounts only, 18 or over and in the US, in English. Not work or school accounts. Keep Activity must be on.

I do not see Custom apps.

Google lists the conditions: a personal Google Account (not work or school), 18 or over, in the US, Gemini in English, and Keep Activity on. Custom apps can be added only on gemini.google.com in a desktop browser.

Gemini asks for credentials under Advanced features.

Those are only for servers without dynamic client registration. Schedchie has it: leave them empty and click Next.

Why does Gemini ask before every post?

Gemini requires manual confirmation for any write action. Reads such as listing your queue run without it.

I use Gemini with a work account. What works instead?

Gemini CLI connects to Schedchie with its own settings.json and a browser sign-in; it has its own page.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from Gemini app?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.
