Your server’s limit, not a guess
the character count comes from your instance, read when you connect. Tools that hardcode 500 refuse posts your own server would have taken.
Works on any instance
Schedchie registers itself with your server the first time someone connects there. No allowlist, no waiting to be added.
Content warnings done properly
set the warning and the post publishes collapsed, exactly as it will appear to your followers. The preview shows it collapsed too.
Visibility is a field
followers-only and direct are one click, and the summary always states which you picked.
Alt text on every image
Mastodon’s culture expects descriptions. It is a field, not an afterthought.
No duplicate posts on a retry
every publish carries an idempotency key, so a network timeout that actually succeeded cannot post twice.
Batch it with everything else
Mastodon goes in the same weekly batch as the rest. Write once, tune the text per account, set the times. Connecting takes a server address and one consent screen — there is no application, and no waiting for approval.

Which Mastodon servers work?
Any of them. You enter your server’s address when you connect, and Schedchie registers itself with that server automatically.
Does Schedchie know my server’s character limit?
Yes. It is read from your server when you connect, so the counter matches what that server actually accepts rather than assuming 500.
Can I schedule polls?
Yes. Two to four answers, single or multiple choice, open from 5 minutes to 7 days. Mastodon does not allow media and a poll on the same post.
Can I set content warnings?
Yes. The post publishes collapsed behind the warning, and the preview shows it the way your followers will see it.
