Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Schedchie's services (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of any updates.

2. Description of service

Schedchie provides an online scheduling and social media management platform (the "Service") that allows users to schedule, manage, and post content on the supported social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile and X (posting to X is a €4.99 add-on per 30 posts). The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to Stripe for payment processing. Use of third-party services may be subject to additional terms.

3. User responsibilities

As a user, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are also responsible for ensuring that any content scheduled, uploaded, or posted through the Service complies with the terms and policies of the social media platforms you use.

You agree to immediately notify Schedchie of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Schedchie will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these responsibilities.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to schedule, publish, or distribute any of the following:

(a) content you do not own and are not licensed or otherwise permitted to publish, including recordings, film, television, music, or images belonging to another person;

(b) content published to accounts, pages, channels, or profiles that misrepresent who operates them, including accounts presenting as a person who does not exist or as someone other than you;

(c) content or posting patterns that breach the terms, policies, or community standards of a connected platform, including its rules on spam, inauthentic behavior, and coordinated distribution;

(d) the same or substantially similar content distributed across a network of accounts in a manner designed to evade a platform's limits on duplicate or inauthentic posting; or

(e) content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or that infringes the rights of any other person.

You may not open a new account, register under a different email address or payment method, or use another person's account, in order to continue using the Service after an account of yours has been suspended or terminated. Schedchie may refuse service to any person who does so.

5. Your content and the rights to it

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant Schedchie only the license necessary to store your content, process it for the platforms you have selected, and deliver it to those platforms on your instruction.

You confirm that, for all content you schedule or publish through the Service, you hold the necessary rights or have the permission of the rights-holder, and that publishing it infringes no other person's rights. You are responsible for all content published through your account.

You agree to indemnify Schedchie against any claim, demand, loss, damage, penalty, or cost, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content published through your account, from your breach of these Terms, or from your breach of the terms or policies of a connected platform.

6. Payment and subscription

Schedchie offers subscription-based access to the Service, with pricing plans subject to change. All payments are processed via Stripe, and you agree to adhere to the terms and policies of Stripe regarding your payments. Fees associated with your selected subscription plan are due at the start of each billing cycle, and you authorize us to charge your payment method accordingly.

Schedchie reserves the right to adjust pricing, offer promotional discounts, or implement new fees with reasonable notice. Any changes to fees will be reflected in your subscription plan, and continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.

Free trial. A new workspace may start one free trial of the Pro or Team plan, lasting 14 days. One trial is available per person and per business. Schedchie may refuse, shorten, or end a trial where it reasonably believes this limit is being circumvented, including through multiple or related accounts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription continues on the plan you chose and the payment method you provided is charged at the start of the first billing period.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the billing settings in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the Service remains available to you until then. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.

Refunds. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable. No refunds or credits are given for partial billing periods, unused time, unused accounts or posts, downgrades, or periods in which you did not use the Service, except where the law requires otherwise or section 11 provides for one.

Add-ons. Add-on purchases, including X (Twitter) post bundles, are one-time charges. Posts not used within the validity period stated at purchase expire. Add-ons are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another account.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, Schedchie may retry the charge and may suspend access to the Service until the outstanding amount is paid. Schedchie is not responsible for posts that are not published while access is suspended for non-payment.

Consumers in the EU. If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal, you expressly request that the paid Service begin immediately when your trial ends or when you subscribe. If you then withdraw, you will pay an amount proportionate to the Service provided until you informed us of your withdrawal.

7. Plan limits and fair use

Where a plan is described as unlimited, that describes how the Service is priced. It means there is no per-account fee, no per-seat fee, and no cap on the number of posts you may schedule: your subscription price does not change with the number of accounts you connect or the volume you publish.

It does not mean the absence of operational limits. Schedchie applies technical limits where a connected platform, its API, or the integrity of Schedchie's own access to that platform requires it. Such limits exist to protect the Service and every customer using it. They are not a paid feature, they are not removed by subscribing to a higher plan, and Schedchie is under no obligation to raise them for any account.

Schedchie may introduce, adjust, or apply such limits at any time, including to an individual account, where doing so is necessary to protect the Service, its access to a connected platform, or other users. By way of example, the number of Facebook Pages that may be connected to a single account is capped, because Meta assesses Schedchie's application by everything published through it. Limits of this kind are set above the requirements of ordinary use of the Service.

Automation is included, within an hourly budget per credential: on the Pro plan 600 tool calls and 60 new sessions per hour through the MCP server, on the Team plan three times that. A client that goes over the budget is answered with a rate-limit response until the hour ends. Nothing is cancelled, revoked, or charged, and the response tells the client what to change. Where a client keeps exceeding the budget, Schedchie sends the account holder one notice per day. This budget is the one operational limit that differs by plan.

8. Data storage and management

By using the Service, you acknowledge that all scheduled content, including posts, media, and related data, will be stored by Schedchie: posts and related data in our MongoDB database, and media files on Cloudflare R2. While we take reasonable measures to secure this data, you agree that Schedchie cannot guarantee the security or integrity of data and that you use the Service at your own risk.

9. Use of third-party services

The Service may integrate or rely on third-party services, including the social media platforms listed in section 2, payment processors (Stripe), and others. Your use of the Service must comply with the respective terms and policies of these third-party services. Schedchie is not responsible for the performance or availability of these services.

YouTube API Services: By using Schedchie to access or interact with YouTube, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to YouTube's terms and policies.

10. Intellectual property

All content, design elements, features, and functionalities of the Service, including but not limited to software, images, logos, text, and trademarks, are the intellectual property of Schedchie or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for personal or internal business use, in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on any aspect of the Service without express written permission from Schedchie.

11. Suspension and termination

Schedchie may suspend or terminate your account, with immediate effect and without prior notice, where:

(a) you have breached these Terms, and in particular section 4;

(b) your use of the Service places Schedchie's access to a connected platform at risk, or has caused a connected platform to restrict or penalize Schedchie or its users;

(c) a rights-holder has notified Schedchie of infringing content published through your account;

(d) your payment method is rejected, reversed, or disputed, or your account shows signs of fraudulent payment; or

(e) you are registering or operating an account after an earlier account of yours was suspended or terminated.

Schedchie may also suspend or terminate your account for any other violation of these Terms, or for behavior that could harm the Service, other users, or third-party services. Where we terminate your account we will notify you at the address held on the account. Where you have paid for a period of service you will not receive, we may refund it at our discretion; we may withhold any refund where the account was terminated following a breach of section 4.

On termination your access to the Service ends immediately, and your content, connected accounts, and scheduled posts are deleted. Schedchie does not retain a copy on your behalf, so you should export anything you wish to keep before that point.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schedchie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. In no event shall Schedchie's liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

13. Reporting infringing content

If you hold rights in material that has been published through the Service and believe it was published without your permission, contact support@schedchie.com with the material concerned, the account or page on which it appeared, and a statement of your rights in it. Schedchie acts on complete notices, removes or disables access to the content where the notice is justified, and terminates the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Slovakia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Slovakia.

15. Changes to terms

Schedchie reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If changes are made, the revised Terms will be posted on our website, and you are responsible for reviewing the updated Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
