Schedchie in Kimi Code CLITerminal

Kimi Code CLI writes the posts. Schedchie publishes them.

Kimi Code CLI connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • npm install -g @moonshot-ai/kimi-code, then a schedchie entry in ~/.kimi-code/mcp.json.
  • Sign in with /mcp-config login schedchie in the browser. No token in the file.
  • On the older Kimi CLI, the file is ~/.kimi/mcp.json and the sign-in is kimi mcp auth.

Setting up Kimi Code CLI

Add one entry to mcp.json and run /mcp-config login. Kimi Code can then schedule the posts for your release.

  1. Kimi Code CLIConfig

    Add the server

In ~/.kimi-code/mcp.json for every project, or .kimi-code/mcp.json for one repository. An entry with a url and no transport is an HTTP server. /mcp-config in Kimi Code adds it without editing the file.

    Config
    { "mcpServers": { "schedchie": { "url": "https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp" } } }
  2. Kimi Code CLIPrompt

    Check it, then call list_accounts

/mcp shows the connection state of every server. Then ask Kimi Code for your connected Schedchie accounts.

    Command
    /mcp

Three prompts for Kimi Code CLI, with the tools they call

  • Write a Bluesky post and a Mastodon post about the fix we merged today, and schedule them an hour apart starting at 14:00.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • What is scheduled for next week, and did anything fail since Monday?

    list_posts
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

    list_pending_approvals, approve_post (Ultra)

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Config
~/.kimi-code/mcp.json (or $KIMI_CODE_HOME/mcp.json), shared across projects; .kimi-code/mcp.json applies to one repository.
Sign-in
/mcp-config login schedchie runs the browser authorization, in a session started after the server was added. /mcp-config on its own adds, edits or deletes servers.
Project files
A project .kimi-code/mcp.json loads only after the workspace trust prompt: Trust this folder.
Older Kimi CLI
Kimi CLI (before Kimi Code) keeps servers in ~/.kimi/mcp.json: kimi mcp add --transport http --auth oauth schedchie and our URL, then kimi mcp auth schedchie.
Kimi sign-in
Kimi Code itself signs in with /login: Kimi Code (OAuth) or a Kimi Platform API key.
Only what you tick
Connect Kimi Code CLI to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in Kimi Code CLI

Which Kimi do I have?

Kimi Code keeps its files in ~/.kimi-code and signs in to servers with /mcp-config login. The older Kimi CLI uses ~/.kimi and kimi mcp auth. Both connect to the same Schedchie URL.

Where does Kimi K3 fit in?

Kimi K3 is Moonshot AI’s model. Kimi Code CLI is the agent that runs in your terminal and holds the MCP connection.

Do I add headers?

No. Leave headers out of the entry; /mcp-config login gives Kimi Code its own token.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from Kimi Code CLI?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
