Schedchie in opencodeTerminal

opencode writes the posts. Schedchie publishes them.

opencode connects to Schedchie’s MCP server at mcp.schedchie.com/mcp and gets up to 88 tools for the accounts in your workspace. Schedchie is a flat-price social media scheduler for 20 platforms: Pro is €9.99 a month, with MCP included.

  • opencode mcp add schedchie with our URL, or a remote entry under mcp.servers in opencode.json.
  • Sign in from /mcps or with opencode mcp auth schedchie. opencode registers itself with Schedchie.
  • opencode mcp logout schedchie removes the stored sign-in from your machine.

Setting up opencode

Add Schedchie with one opencode mcp add command and sign in from /mcps. opencode can then schedule the posts for the release you just tagged.

  1. opencodeCommand

    Add the server

    --global puts it in your global opencode config; leave it out to keep Schedchie to this project.

    Command
    opencode mcp add schedchie --global --url https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp
  2. opencodeConfig

    Or write opencode.json

    The same entry by hand, under mcp.servers. OAuth is on by default, so the type and the URL are all it needs.

    opencode.json (or opencode.jsonc)
    {
      "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
      "mcp": {
        "servers": {
          "schedchie": {
            "type": "remote",
            "url": "https://mcp.schedchie.com/mcp"
          }
        }
      }
    }
  3. opencodePrompt

    Check it, then call list_accounts

    opencode mcp list shows schedchie connected. Then ask opencode for your connected Schedchie accounts.

    Command
    opencode mcp list

Official docs: opencode.ai/docs/mcp-servers

Three prompts for opencode, with the tools they call

  • Read the diff since v2.3.0, write a Bluesky post and a LinkedIn post about it, and schedule them for Friday at 9:30.

    list_accounts, schedule_posts
  • What is scheduled for next week, and did anything fail since Monday?

    list_posts
  • Which posts are waiting for my approval? Approve the LinkedIn one.

    list_pending_approvals, approve_post (Ultra)

Connection details

Same MCP server, permission groups and approvals as the Schedchie web app.

Config
opencode.json or opencode.jsonc, under mcp.servers.schedchie: type remote and url. No headers and no oauth block needed.
Sign-in
OAuth is on by default for remote servers: opencode uses a Client ID Metadata Document when the server offers one, else dynamic client registration, as with Schedchie.
Tokens
Stored on your machine, outside the project configuration. opencode mcp logout schedchie deletes them.
Commands
opencode mcp add, opencode mcp auth, opencode mcp list and opencode mcp logout; /mcps inside opencode.
Only what you tick
Connect opencode to Schedchie. Your assistant gets up to 88 tools across 20 platforms, and only the permission groups you tick at sign-in.
Video from your phone
Your assistant can hand you an upload link for a video up to 200 MB and 15 minutes, then set your own cover on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
Approvals that hold
On Ultra, a teammate's posts wait for your approval, and your assistant can list, approve or reject them from the chat. MCP is included in the €9.99 plan, with no per-account fees.

More about Schedchie in opencode

Which command signs opencode in to Schedchie?

opencode mcp auth schedchie from the shell, or /mcps inside opencode: select schedchie and sign in.

Do I need clientId or clientSecret in the oauth block?

No. Those are for servers without dynamic registration. Schedchie registers opencode on the fly.

Where is the token kept?

On your machine, outside the project configuration; opencode mcp logout schedchie deletes it. To cut it off on our side as well, revoke it in the dashboard under AI assistants.

Is the MCP connection billed on top of the plan?

No. It is included on every plan and in the 14-day free trial. Pro is €9.99 a month, flat. Posting to X is paid in X credits, as in the web app.

Are there limits?

Each connection can make up to 120 tool calls a minute. On Pro it gets 300 tool calls an hour, plus 30 session opens that make no call; on Ultra four times that, 1,200 calls and 120 opens.

Can I schedule posts to all 20 platforms from opencode?

Yes: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, Discord, Slack, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost, Pixelfed, Listmonk and X (posting to X is paid in X credits, from €4.99). The connection has up to 88 tools, and approval rules hold as in the web app.

14 days on your own accounts, then €9.99 a month

The assistant connection is included on every plan and in the trial.
