The X (Twitter) add-on
€4.99 buys 30 X posts, valid 30 days. How posts are counted, how batches stack, where to buy, and what happens when a batch runs out.
X (Twitter) is the one platform that is not included in the flat price. €4.99 buys 30 X posts, valid for 30 days. Everything else — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky — is in the plan.
What it is
X charges tools for API access per use. Folding that into the base price would mean the people who never touch X paying for the people who do, so it is a separate, one-time purchase instead of a second subscription.
| Price | €4.99, one-time (VAT handled at checkout) |
| What it buys | 30 X posts |
| Valid for | 30 days from purchase |
| Renews | No — it is a one-time purchase, not a subscription |
| Needed for | Publishing to X, and connecting an X account in the first place |
How posts are counted
One credit per tweet that actually publishes. That is per X account, not per post in your calendar:
- A post going to one X account uses 1 credit.
- The same post going to three X accounts uses 3.
- A post going to X plus Instagram plus LinkedIn uses 1 — only the X half touches the batch.
- A tweet that fails does not consume a credit.
If you run several X accounts, do the multiplication
Stacking and expiry
- Buy as many batches as you want — they add together into one balance.
- Credits are spent from the batch that expires first, so nothing is wasted by accident.
- Each batch is valid 30 days from its own purchase date. Credits left in a batch when it expires do not carry over.
Your balance, the number of batches, and the next expiry date all show on the add-on panel. If you drive Schedchie from an AI assistant, the same numbers come back from get_x_addon_status — see connect an AI assistant.
Where to buy it
Go to Dashboard → Settings and use the X (Twitter) Add-On panel. It shows what you have left and buys another batch in one step. Credits are live immediately.
You will also meet it at Dashboard → Account groups: choosing the X tile with an empty balance offers the purchase first, then carries straight on to the X consent screen once it goes through.
When a batch runs out
X targets stop publishing and the account is flagged Add-on required. That flag is about the balance, not the connection — the account stays connected and nothing needs reconnecting.
- Other platforms on the same post publish normally. Only the X half is affected.
- The post shows as
Partialwith the X account marked, and the reason on it. - Top up, then retry the post. The flag clears on the next X post that goes through.
Keeping it from happening
- Check the balance on the settings panel before scheduling a heavy X week.
- Buy the next batch before the current one empties — they stack, so nothing is lost by being early.
What X supports once it is connected — text, images, video, reply settings, the 280-character limit — is on the X platform page and in the platform limits reference.
