Buffer has a Free plan for up to 3 channels and 1 user. It holds 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time (a slot frees when a post is published), 100 ideas and 30 days of analytics history. First comments, the hashtag manager and reports need a paid plan.
What counts as a channel on Buffer?
Each social account you connect is one channel: an Instagram profile, a Facebook Page, a LinkedIn Page, a TikTok account and so on. Five brands with an Instagram profile and a Facebook Page each are 10 channels. On a paid plan every connected channel is billed, including the 3 that were free.
How much does Buffer cost for 10 or 25 channels?
On Essentials, 10 channels cost $60 a month on monthly billing or $50 a month billed yearly ($600 a year). 25 channels cost $120 a month (10 at $6 plus 15 at $4) or $100 a month billed yearly ($1,200 a year). On Team the same counts cost $120 and $180 a month, or $100 and $150 a month billed yearly.
Does Buffer charge per user?
No. Buffer prices channels, not seats. Essentials includes 1 user. Team includes unlimited team members, approval workflows and access levels, at $12 a channel a month for the first 10 channels ($10 billed yearly).
